佐藤先生最終講義
科学技術の進歩は、世界の人達に豊かな暮らしをもたらしています。特に、通信の発展は世界経済の発展ばかりでなく、人類がお互いの文化を理解するために大 きな役割をはたしています。近年のパーソナル通信やインターネットに代表される通信技術の進展はネットワークからデバイスに至る科学技術の進展によるとこ ろが大きいのです。私の研究室では、次世代ネットワークの無線有線のネットワーク研究から通信制御の研究、通信デバイス研究、通信用LSIの研究に至るま で、基礎的な研究から応用研究まで幅広く研究を行なっています。
長年、ITUの国際標準化で高速セルラーデータ通信システムの標準化、米国のTIAでのW-CDMAの標準化、日本でのW-CDMAの標準化、米国の IEEE802委員会での無線LANの標準化を行いセルラーや無線通信の標準化を行なってきました。通信技術の研究活動を通して、学会、標準化委員会、新 産業の育成とトータルな貢献と通して人類の発展のために尽くすことが、佐藤研究室が目指すところです。

The progress of the science technologies is supplying to abundant life for people in the world. The advance of the communication technologies plays important roles of not only the economic progress but also cultural exchange together.Recent advanced communication technologies are mainly caused by the progress of the networking and device technologies. Sato’s laboratory aims to research and study the next generation wired and wireless Internet, communication control and architecture, communication device and communication LSI.The purpose of the SatoLab is to contribute for the academic society, standardization committee and new industries society through the research activity of the communication technologies.
